Hyperterminal
HyperTerminal is a program designed to perform the functions of communication and terminal emulation. Also known as HyperTerm, this program has been offered as part of the Microsoft operating system since the release of Windows 98. Essentially, Hyperterminal allows computer users take advantage of other computers to connect between the two systems.
Telnet
Telnet (Telecommunication Network) is a network protocol used on the Internet or Local Area Network to provide text-based communication facilities, two-way interaction using a virtual terminal connection. TELNET was developed in 1969 and standardized as IETF STD 8, one of the first Internet standards. TELNET has some limitations which are considered as a security risk.
Putty
PuTTY is an open source program that you can use to perform network protocol SSH, Telnet and Rlogin. This protocol can be used to run a remote session on a computer through a network, whether LAN, or the Internet. The program is widely used by computer users to upper secondary level, which is usually used to connect, simulate, or try various things related to the network. This program can also be used as a tunnel in a network.
Webfig
Webfig like winbox, but webfig has quickset to quick default setting in RouterOS
Winbox
Winbox is one of the interface (gui) to configure the Mikrotik OS router
is currently only running on the operating system microsoft windows and
mac with the ease we winbox in the Mikrotik OS router and the effect of
the unix command shell that is Mikrotik OS router.
Purpose
1. To learn how to Remote the mikrotik OS without its machine.2. To know how to operate their program.
IP Address
1. Mikrotik Machinea. Operating System : Miktrotik
b. IP Address : 192.168.1.77
c. Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Steps
1. In the Machine of the Mikrotik
a. Login your Mikrotik
b. Print your interface with shyntax "interface print". Make ip address with shyntax "ip address add address = 'your ip/your subnet' interface='interface in your machine'. And then Print the Ip with shyntax "ip address print". Like the picture below.
c. Change your virtual box Network setting, with bridged adapter.
d. Ping your Mikrotik in your cmd.
2. Remote By PuTTY
a. Open your PuTTY. Type your IP Address in Host name and use SSH with port 22. And then save and openb. Log in with Admin and empty password.
c. Ok remote by PuTTY has been finished.
3. Remote By Webfig
a. Open your Browser, then type your Mikrotik IP. And then click enter in your keyboard.b. This is the appear of the Webfig. And Remote by webfif has been finished.
4. Remote By WinBox
a. Open your WinBox. Click "...", then click IP Address or MAC Address. And then connect.b. This is the appear of the WinBox. Remote by WinBox has been finished.
c. Appear of the WinBox Terminal
5. Remote By HyperTerminal
a. Open your hyperterminal. Select your country and code area, and then click ok.b. Your Country code and your location. If this rigth click ok
c. Enter a name and choose an icon for the connection. Then click ok.
d. Change COM3 with TCP/IP and type the Machine IP and Port.
e. Log in with admin and empty password.
f. Remote By Hyperterminal has been finished.
6. Remote By Telnet Client at Windows 7
a. Enter Control Panel > Programs > Program and Features. And then click Turn Windows feature on or off (The menu is in left bar)b. Checklist the Telnet Client and then OK
c. Wait a few second.
d. Open the CMD. type the syntax "telnet <your IP Address>".
e. Log in with admin and empty password.
f. This appear will be looked after you Log in. Click Enter
g. Remote By Telnet Client has been finished
