LAB 2 : POINT TO MULTIPOINT

TOPOLOGY

1. ACCESS POINT
 Enter your Routerboard

Your routerboard will be show


If you need. Reset your routerboard


Reset no default configuration


Yes to continue reset configuration


Your routerboard has been disconnected


Enter again


Open your terminal


Create IP Address in ether1


Create IP DNS with allow remote requests


Create firewall with chain "srcnat" and action "masqurade"


Ping internet (Google.com)


Enable your WLAN


WLAN has been enabled


Change wireless mode to ap-brigde


Start scanning


Change Frequency which you want and change SSID, if you need


Create IP Address to WLAN


Check registration.

Ping your client


Create IP Address to ether 2


Create IP Address to your computer / laptop


Ping internet and ether in routerboard




2. CLIENT 1

Enable your ethernet 


Enter your routerboard


If you need, reset configuration 


No default configuration for losing configuration


Routerboard has been disconnected


Enter the routerboard again


Enable WLAN


WLAN has been enabled


start scanning


Change WLAN mode to station and the frequency must similar with access point


Create IP Address to WLAN


Add gateway


Add IP DNS


Add Firewall


Ping internet (google.com)


Add IP Address to ether 2


Add IP Address to your computer / laptop


Ping Internet, your routerboard, and access point



3. CLIENT 2
Enable ethernet


Enter your routerboard



Reset configuration (if you need)


Yes to continue. and then the routerboard has been disconnected


Enter your routerboard again


Enable WLAN


WLAN has been enabled


Start scanning


Change mode and the frequency must similiar with access point


WLAN has been connected


Create IP Address in WLAN


Add Gateway


Add IP DNS


Add Firewall


Ping internet and access point


Create IP Address to ether 2


Create IP Address to your computer / laptop


Ping internet, routerboard, and access point
